WHY EARLY DENTAL CARE MATTERS
Setting the Foundation for Lifelong Oral Health
Early Detection Prevents Bigger Problems
Small cavities in baby teeth can be treated quickly and easily. If left untreated, they can cause pain, infection, and affect the developing permanent teeth underneath. Regular dental exams catch these issues when they’re still manageable.
Baby Teeth Matter More Than You Think
Some parents assume baby teeth don’t matter since they’ll fall out anyway. But baby teeth hold space for permanent teeth, help with speech development, and allow children to eat nutritious foods properly. Losing baby teeth too early can cause problems later.
Building Positive Dental Experiences
Children who have positive experiences at the dentist from an early age don’t develop dental anxiety. They grow up seeing dental care as a normal, non-scary part of staying healthy.
We Check Oral Development
Dr. Bajwa monitors how your child’s teeth and jaw are developing. She can identify issues like crowding, bite problems, or developmental delays early when treatment is most effective.

Giggles Pediatric Dentistry
This is the the best pediatric dentistry office I have ever visited with my family. They made us feel welcomed, and are very professional. Receptionist gave amazing customer service and was very patient to answer any questions we had. There is a special place for children to play and occupy themselves in the waiting area allowing parents to have an easier waiting time. Teeth work on the children was very well done and was children friendly with television mounted to the ceilings so children can watch while getting their teeth worked on withheadsets for audio to tv. This worked great. My children really enjoyed their visit and is always excited to go back for their next appointments. I highly recommend this dentistry for the best experience and service for you and your family.
We had an amazing experience here. It was my daughter's first time at the dentist and I wanted to make sure she wasn't too scared. My sister recommended this new pediatric dentist office in Abbotsford. The staff is super welcoming and the atmosphere is very kid friendly. The dentist and assistant made sure we were comfortable during the exam. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone with young children. Thank you to the doctor and staff at Giggles, you made my daughter's first dental experience a great one!
I brought my 5-year-old daughter in for a second opinion and was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Bajwa was willing to treat her infected tooth in the office using sedation. Before we knew it, everything went smoothly, and the whole experience was great. We’re very grateful for the care and compassion shown to our daughter by Dr. Bajwa and her team. Oh and the office is definitely made keeping kids in mind.
We absolutely love Dr. Bajwa. She is professional, kind, and truly wonderful with kids. We actually followed her from her previous practice because of how much we trust her care. My son can be very anxious at the dentist, but she and her team make him feel so comfortable and relaxed. Her new practice is absolutely adorable and incredibly kid-friendly. I can't recommend her enough for anyone looking for a pediatric dentist who genuinely cares about her patients and makes every visit a positive experience.
Dr. Bajwa’s new pediatric dental clinic is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is bright, cheerful, and so kid-friendly, it instantly puts little ones at ease. The whole space feels welcoming and thoughtfully designed for children. And Dr. Bajwa herself is even better. She is so kind, patient, and fantastic with kids. You can really tell she loves what she does. Highly recommend this clinic to any parents looking for a positive dental experience for their children!

Common Questions About New Patient Appointments
When should my child have their first dental visit?
The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth appearing. Early visits establish good habits and allow Dr. Bajwa to monitor your child’s development.
How long does a new patient appointment take?
Your child’s first dental appointment typically takes 45 to 60 minutes. This allows time for a thorough exam, cleaning, and discussion about your child’s oral health.
What if my child is nervous about the dentist?
Dr. Bajwa specializes in helping anxious children feel comfortable. She moves at your child’s pace, explains everything in kid-friendly language, and uses positive reinforcement. Many children who were initially nervous end up having fun at their appointments.
Do you accept dental insurance?
We work with most dental insurance plans. Our team will verify your coverage and help you understand your benefits.
